DAY 01: HANOI ARRIVAL                                       (D)

Upon arrival in Noi Bai airport, you will be met by our English-speaking tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Depend on your time, you will have a short sightseeing tour to have an overview of Hanoi includes Temple of Literature, Lake of Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.  Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 02: HANOI – HALONG BAY    (170 km)                   (B/ L/ D)

In the morning you will leave Hanoi to depart for Ha Long Bay and drive pass some of the beautiful rural landscape before arriving to the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay in the afternoon. After arriving Halong Bay, board the Halong Junk Cruise. Enjoy welcome drink and lunch of freshly caught seafood served on board. Cruising pass the amazing shaped mountains, visit Sung Sot cave. Then sailing to Titop Beach and Mountain where we can land on the beach for swimming or stepping up (400 steps) to the top of the mountain for taking beautiful panorama pictures of Halong Bay and viewing the sunset. Overnight stays on Halong Junk Cruise.

DAY 03: HALONG BAY – HANOI    (170 km)                   (B/ L)

Enjoy early morning view of the bay’s landscape. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay before taking a small boat to visit Hang Luon.  We have some time to swim before leaving back to the harbour.  Check out and have early lunch before drive back to Hanoi. Visit Dong Trieu Pottery Village on the way. Overnight stays in Hanoi.

DAY 04: HANOI City tour – LAO CAI overnight train                (B/D)

You will enjoy sightseeing Hanoi city tours with visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda - one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam built in 11th century and shaped as a lotus flower, Tran Quoc Pagoda regarded as one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi built in Ly Nam De King (544-548) and  the Museum of Ethnology - the best collection of 54 Vietnam ethnic minorities.. Free walking around Hanoi old quarter for shopping and short visit Dong Xuan market. Enjoy 1 hour cyclo tours around the Hanoi City's old quarters. You are transfered to Hanoi train station to board overnight train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train in 4 bed soft-sleeper carbin.

DAY 05: LAO CAI - SAPA (40 km)                         (B/L)

On arrival at Lao Cai train station you will take a drive to SaPa. At an elevation of 1,500 meters, Sa Pa is a former French hill resort and home to some of Vietnam’s most colorful ethnic minority groups.

You have breakfast in the restaurant. In the afternoon you have some time to explore the Sapa town with Ham Rong mountain and Sapa market. Overnight in Sapa town.

DAY 06: SAPA – LAO CHAI -  TA VAN home stay                       (B/L/D)

You leave Sapa town to begin your trek with 6 hours through the beautiful mountain region and observe the varied customs and cultures of the minority people. The trekking will be difficult at times with some steep uphill and downhill walking, but the spectacular scenery, with a mixture of terraced rice-fields and hill villages, makes the hardship all worthwhile. For the first night of trekking you will stay in Ta Van village, home of the Zay minority with the basic facilities, but definitely unique of experience. 

DAY 07: TAVAN – BAN HO homstay                                             (B/L/D)

You will continue the trek about 5 hours from Ta Van village to Ban Ho village, passing through different hilltribe villages along the way and meetting with minority people. This is a homeland of Black Hmong, Tay, Red Dao and Sa Pho minorities, who are diversified in cultures, beautiful in costumes. Your second night will be homestay in the Ban Ho village.

DAY 08: BAN HO - SAPA                                         (B/L/D)

You will complete the trekking expedition with 3 hours on trails among rice terraces, mountains and village dirt paths, crossing some rivers. In the afternoon and return to Sapa for a rest and  shower. Overnight in Sapa hotel.

DAY 09: SAPA – BAC HA – HANOI overnight train                                (B/L/D)

Early morning you will check out the hotel and depart for the Lao Cai town and head for hills towards the east. You will visit the lively and colourful Sunday market in Bac Ha - one of the most colourful markets in the world. Where you have a chance to explore the custom and culture of some difference minorities, most of them are Flower Hmong. Returning to Lao Cai, you will check in the overnight sleepping train to go back to Hanoi.

Day 10: HANOI - HUE (1 hour flight)                                           (B/L)

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will have some time for bath and relax, before transferring to the airport for flight to Hue. You will be met and transferred to the hotel for check in and have a leisure time.

Afternoon you will have a short tour of the quiet city built under the Nguyen Dynasty with the magnificent architecture of its citadels, palaces, royal tombs, pagodas and temples. You will visit the Imperial Citadel - Forbidden Royal City and have time free shopping in Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

DAY 11: HUE                                                             (B/L)

Morning you will take a dragon boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River and the Hue's best-known religious site beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda,  visitting of the Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and Emperor Khai Dinh. Back to your hotel, you will have time for leisure. Overnight in Hue

DAY 12: HUE – HOI AN (160 km)                         (B)

You are transferred overland to Hoian recorgnised as the World Heritage by UNESCO. Pass over Hai Van and China beach, towards Danang and continue south to China Beach which lies against a backdrop of the sensational Marble Mountains.

Arrival Hoi An town, after checking in the hotel you have free time for discovery your self the Old town or relax on the beautifull sandy beach.

DAY 13: HOI AN                                                       (B/L)

You will have a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Phuc Kien Temple, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200-year old Tam Ky ancestral house, the Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful local markets.

Afternoon you have free time for leisure on the beach. Overnight in Hoian.

DAY 14: HOI AN - DANANG – BUON ME THUOTT - RAI village           (B/L/D)

Transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Buon Ma Thuot. You will be met at the airport and drive about 80 kms to the rural village of Nam Ka before walking 3 kms to your homestay for overnight - in Rai village of Ede minority. You will have a nice experience in the traditional long house-on-stilt of Ede minority, a very simple accomodation, but clean and comfortable.

DAY 15: NAM KA forest – BUON TRIET Lake – JATU village               (B/L/D)

You will have a full day for trekking with 18 km through evergreen forest to the lovely Buon Triet lake by the graded easy and the temperature remains quite comfortable road. You are picked up by pedal boats and enjoy a ride across this beautiful lake before enjoying an afternoon swim. Overnight will be in Jatu village of M’Nong minority.

DAY 16: JUN village - LAK lake - M'LIENG village – BUON ME THUOT  (B/L)

You are transported to the Jun village. Enjoying a ride across Lak lake by elephant to M’Lieng village. Walking around the village to discover the daily life of ethnic minority in the Central Highlands. Back to Jun village by boat. Transfer to Buon Ma Thuot and check in the hotel. You will have a nice time for city by night.

DAY 17: BUON ME THUOT – KON TUM (250 km)                                               (B/L)

Morning you will have a interested visiting of Ethnology Museum: daily life of ethnic minorities in Vietnam such as  clothes, cultivated tools, musical instruments... and continue by visiting the Khai Doan Pagoda, the last one of Nguyen Dynasty in the Central Highlands with the mixed architecture between long house-on-stilts of Ede group and traditional house in Hue. Visit Buon Ma Thuot’s bustling regional market, you can buy some souvenirs before driving to Kon Tum in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Kon Tum.

DAY 18: KON TUM - KON KO TU village                                       (B/L/D)

Morning you will visit the Big Seminary, the Wooden Church and drive to Kon Ko Lor II village. Start hiking through Kon Ko Ri village, across rice and sugar-cane fields. You will meet Bana ethnic people and discover the architecture of Rong house which looks like an axe blade pointing in to the sky. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a ride on the river by rubber boat to Kon Ko Tu village. Overnight in Rong house of the Bana minority.

DAY 19: DAKTO - PLEI PHUN - PLEIKU                                       (B/L/D)

You will be transported to Dak To. Walk across a suspension bridge to visit some villages of Se Dang minority. Back to Kon Tum and transport to Plei Ku. Visit Phun village, a traditional village of Jarai ethnic group with a typical cemetery in the Central Highlands. The tombs are decorated by wooden statues. Going on to T’nung Lake before checking in hotel in Plei Ku.

DAY 20: PLEIKU – QUY NHON (200 km)                                                 (B/L)

You will be driven to Quy Nhon and on the way have stopover at An Khe to visit the former bases: 1st Bn 7th CAV Base Camp, 3rd Bde "Garry Owen" Base Camp, Looking West from 3rd Bde, The Barrier Line, 1/9 CAV Area and Manyang passes, having lunch on the way. Proceed to Quy Nhon. Overnight at beach resort in Quy Nhon.

DAY 21: QUY NHON – NHA TRANG (230 km)                                                     (B)

Morning departure for the beach city of Nha Trang, stopping at any point that interests you along the way. Arrive at Nha Trang, check into hotel. Free evening for strolling around the city. Overnight in Nha Trang city.

DAY 22: NHA TRANG boat cruise                                                                         (B/L)

Morning, we will take private boat trip to visit Mun island. Sea food lunch served on board. Free for swimming, relaxing. Coming back to your city at about 04:00pm in afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Nha Trang city.

DAY 23: NHA TRANG - SAIGON     (1 hour flight)                                  (B)

Free at leisure until transferring to airport to take flight to Saigon - Renamed Ho Chi Minh City in 1975, a vibrant city offering a fascinating introduction to Vietnamese culture. You'll see the historic Reunification Palace and some great examples of French colonial architecture from the comfort of a cyclo. You will be free at the rest of day to make your own exploration to discover the city. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 24: SAIGON DEPARTURE                                                                   (B)

Free at leisure until transferring to Tan Son Nhat airport to take departure flight to “Home sweet Home”!
